Developers

Stuart Hammar was responsible for developing the End-User Interface of the Bonolo Project. Stuart is completing his final year of Business Science majoring in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town.

Like Stuart, Miles Robinson is completing his final year of Business Science majoring in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town. Miles was responsible for developing the Curator Interface of the Bonolo Project.

Project Supervisor

The Bonolo Project was supervised by Associate Professor Hussein Suleman, a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Dr. Suleman's research is currently focused on Digital Libraries, and he runs the the Digital Libray Laboratory at UCT. His knowledge and experience in this field made him the ideal supervisor for the Bonolo Project as he was able to offer invaluable advice at every step of development.

Second Reader

The second reader of the Bonolo Project is Dr. Anne Kayem, a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town. Her research is currently focused on Information Security and Artificial Intelligence.

Collaborator

Lighton Phiri a Computer Science Masters student at the University of Cape Town provided sample data sets from the Bleek and Lloyd Collection for testing and development of the Bonolo Project. Some of the results obtained from the Bonolo Project will be used in his Masters research.
